Small to medium-sized native tree with oval or round head, also known as Mountain Ash. The pinnate green leaves provide good colour in the autumn as the red berries, loved by birds, shine through. Flat heads of white flower clusters appear in the spring. Requires well-drained soil and sun or partial shade.

It is set at the bottom of the Mendip hills where the 18 acre nursery specialises in hardy, native and ornamental trees, shrubs, hedging and fruit trees.
