Product Details

Small, deciduous tree. This handsome crab apple brings a billowing cloud of first blush pink, then white flowers in spring. A mass of red buds burst into white in a heavenly display that only crab apples are able to perform. Miniature yellow/orange ornamental apples about 2 or 3 cm across subsequently appear to provide a further attraction during the autumn. This cultivar in particular is an ideal choice where space is limited given its rather conical habit over time. For best results grow in full sun.

Supplied by Chew Valley Trees, one of Somerset's leading nurseries for over 20 years. It is set at the bottom of the Mendip hills where the 18 acre nursery specialises in hardy, native and ornamental trees, shrubs, hedging and fruit trees. The nursery continues to grow both in size and product range.

With plants featuring at major national venues such as the Chelsea Flower Show, Hampton Court Palace and Westonbirt International Festival of Gardens you can be sure of the total commitment to quality products from the Mendip Times Gardening Shop.
