Former Chef Jonathan Newberry now smokes food for top restaurants. Jonathan started smoking food when he worked as a 22 year-old chef at Gravetye Manor at East Grinstead in West Sussex. 
Thirteen years ago he packed away his whites and set up a smokehouse on a small farm outside Bristol. Today he smokes for many of the country’s top restaurants from Cliveden; Raymond Blanc Chef Patron of Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons, Harveys of Bristol; The Hereford House Castle House, Hereford; Roxburghe House Hotel, Kelso and Restaurant 36 On the Quay to name but a few.
