About Chocolate on Chocolate

Four years ago a chocolate dream was born in a small Somerset barn. In the village of Rode, near Bath, a father and daughter partnership was created as they hit upon a new way to make greetings cards.

What has made this success possible has been a unique new, and patented, way of fashioning chocolate. Chocolate on Chocolate pride themselves on the superb high quality of their Belgian chocolate and they way they have taken this fantastic product and hand crafted it into something original that continues to speak to the British public.

“Every one of our chocolate designs is fashioned out of plaster by hand. Its neither a quick nor easy process but we pride ourselves on offering beautiful and original chocolates for our consumers,” says Kerr Dunlop, one half of the partnership.

Once the stunning designs have been created it is over to the factory floor where all the chocolates are made by hand with the utmost care and attention to detail. With the ever changing and updating of designs it is a constant process of moving forward.

Flo Dunlop, the other half of the duo says, “We still have some of our very first designs on offer but we recognise that people want to give gifts that are a little bit different so while we spend a lot of time ensuring that our range looks fantastic when it arrives on your doorstep we also are constantly looking at ways to make you, and us, stand out from the crowd.”

Flo continues; “Hopefully when people see our chocolates a smile will come to their face, but we know when they bite into it they will be smiling inside.”

With research continuing to show that chocolate is good for humans perhaps the magic that Chocolate on Chocolate spread with their gifts is the real secret to success
